Started in 1968, Santa Rosa Junior College offers free, noncredit courses designed specifically for older adults as part of our commitment to lifelong learning.Our Older Adult Program (OAP) courses provide opportunities for personal growth.
The Older Adults Department at CCSF offers non-credit classes specially designed for those 55 plus, but all are welcome to attend. The classes are held in over thirty locations throughout San Francisco, in neighborhoods that are accessible by bus or BART.
Older Adult courses are designed to address the educational needs and personal interests of older adults (50 years and older), focusing on topics that promote independence, advocacy, community engagement, self-maintenance, personal growth, physical and cognitive .
